MUSICIAN BERNARD LINNETTE WEB DESIGN
Challenge:
Straight-ahead jazz musician Bernard Linnette has been using his snare drum to keep beats for some of the greatest jazz musicians including the late Freddy Cole, McCoy Tyner, Jazzmeia Horne, and others for the last 30 years.

Bernard wanted a website update reminiscent of the "cool" age of jazz.
​Solution:
Bernard's music is not for the smooth jazz listener, but instead for a straight-ahead jazz connoisseur longing for the days when musicians were called "cats" and Miles and Coltrane were on the scene.
​
To achieve this, we decided to go back to the days of the Blue Note album cover design and bring back close-up photography with a limited color palette.
​
We have worked frequently with Bernard and this design style is the personification of his musical style - cool.
